I have a very quiet system with a Zalman heatsink and fan in the Antec Sonata case. My video card on the other hand (GeForce4 Ti4200) is very annoying. The fan on the card is ridiculously loud. I was thinking about getting a new card. My question, are there any good video cards that do no come with a fan? Also, could I just remove the fan on my current video card and get a heatsink of some kind? If so, what is the best and most effective heatsink available? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Some places sell a replacement heatsink/fan combo for the GeForce Ti series cards. Here's one:

Might be an easier step that just buying an all-new card.

Put one of these on whatever card you buy, you will love it for its cooling ability and low low noise level
