why is newegg sold out of all the 9800's?

i cant find a single 9800 (se, non-pro, pro or xt) (to my knowlage been looking but not paying 100% attention...)

it seems like every video card has been sold out for awhile,
im waiting patintaly for the powercolor 9800se 128mb ddr 256bit card to come back in retail, but it just aint shown up yet.. any one have any ideas why their is a video card shortage?

I also like when they say something will be in by a certain date and show a price of $75, but the day they get it in it goes up to $84.
