Thermal Paste

Okay so I gotta P4 2.4 that I got retail that already had paste on it.

Im bout to move it to a different mobo and my ? is:
Do I need to change it all out, add more, or just leave it alone?

yeah your gonna wanna apply more. When u take off the HS you will see that the thermal paste will be uneven from the force applied while removing the HS. Make sure to wipe off the original on both the chip and heatsink and re-apply.

The black stuff comes off nice with Goof-Off.

do a quick google search and have a look at some "applying thermal paste or thermal grease" tutorials.
