Ok here is the deal. I have been a cable modem user for about 4 years until I got stupid and ordered DSL...I have 4 months left on the contract for my DSL ISP. I just ordered Cable again and will get it on Saturday. The question is can I utilize both connections simultaneously??
I tried modem teaming, check my previous post (http://www.speedguide.net/ubb/Forum2/HTML/005710.html).

Esotericlife,
1. You will find out tomorrow.
2. Why do you need it? Do you think the xDSL speed (e.g., 768 kbps,) will add to cable speed ,( e.g., 1.5 MB/s)? As I understand, you will have two different ISP, i.e., you will have to connect to two different computers on the first leg of every connection. Besides, your NIC can be figured only for one set of data, right?

heya there,
as i see it, it should work fine for downloading software when using the midpoint (or whatever it was) software and programs like Download Accelerator (just a util with segmented downloading, or whatever it's called)
