View Full Version : poor me
Heh I just had an @home guy come check my line out because it was down yesterday, come to find out my upstream frequency is so low it doesnt even register, yay! Funny thing is Im getting 5mbps downstream today consistantly, but my upstreams are so staggard theres no set rate to em. Anyone else ever had this happen to them before?
I had a similar problem, though it wasn't effecting my speeds but it was effecting my connection.
See we found out the filters in my Tap where old and worn out, and they were causing the signal to be real low. Every time a storm came through my Cable Modem would go out.
So they came out, replaced the filters, tweaked it and all is well now.

Out the 100TX, through the linksys router/switch, down the cable modem, over the Tap, off the bridge, past the node, straight up the gateway, past the head end office....nothing but Net
