I have had a problem where sometimes (4 times to be exact) that when i go to push the power button on my computer the computer doesn't turn on. But for each time this has happened i unplugged the power supply cable that goes into my mobo and replugged it then the computer will power up fine. The times this has happened doesn't occur in rapid succession, it may be a couple of weeks before this problem occurs again after i replug the cable in the mobo. What do you all think is happening..is something going out? It's the computer in my sig.

I hope your not doing that with the power supply turned on? Just because the PC is off doesn't mean the power supply is off. It still has power to it, and part of it is still working, the part that powers up your PC. Sounds like the crowbar circuit is tripping, only way to reset it is to remove the power (ac mains) from the supply.
