heya, guys. at work right now so i will make it short and sweet.

looking for a decent DVD-ROM. the one i have now i have had for a few years (old Hitachi 12x) and works great, but won't read DVD+/- media. need a replacement which will do so, so i will be able to disc-to-disc copy DVD+/- discs.

nothing special needed aside from being able to read all kinds of DVD media.

thanks for the help, guys.

Lite-On makes decent DVD drives. Plexor is top of the line.

I saw a lite-on drive yesterday that had 52x/32x/52 burning and dvd reading as well. It was only 59 bucks... on ebay. Forget the model number.

I just bought a Lite-On DVD Burner at Wal-Mart for $98.00. Was a 4x +/- RW model. Works very well so far.

I also vote Lite-On... Great drives at a great price!
