I think the next system I build will be a 64-bit AMD system, but I won't probably build it till the end of this year. Hopefully they will have patches & drivers out so that it will improve gaming performance by a lot....

Hhehe, i always thought you'd upgrade you name to 128-bit when they came out with the new 64bit athlons :D

I stay a little behind the times on hardware myself. I'm running an XP 2400+ on a via kt266a motherboard with 640 MB ram, radeon 9600 pro... I only upgrade once a year typically, just a few parts at a time....

Not me either, I upgraded my old system with a nice Intel board, 512Mb crucial ram, and a P4 3.2Ghz HT CPU.... I couldn't ask for a better system. Hopefully it'll last me a good three years like the last one did.

Waiting for software to catch up with the hardware.

64bit OS + 64bit Apps = skye on 64bit

Yep, and I personally think it'll be a good long while before we start seeing software and drivers for that matter coming out in 64bit.
