Hey folks:

I have a Dell Inspiron 8500 that is about 3 or 4 months old. It has an ATI 9000 w/32MB RAM video card in it.

Is there a good way to upgrade these or is it really not possible by myself? I don't want to void warranty or anything.

If not, no biggie. I wouldn't mind a travelling gaming rig for business trips to Vegas in March. (Lots of down time.)

you will have to wait. i think dell is supplying m10's for the 85/8600 series but only officially supports it in the 8600, and i'm not sure if anybody has successfully used it in a 8500. you shoudl check their video card forum at http://forums.us.dell.com

i haven't come across anyone who has been able to buy a separate geforce4 4200 go card (the one i have). needless to say that for now i think it can closely match the m10 for all but dx9.
