Sucky card, I know. Value card, indeed.

I want to be able to play some older games, such as C&C Renegade, with 2X AA. Do you think OCing the GPU would make any difference? Would OCing the memory make more of a difference for AA?

It's at like 175 right now, I believe it's stock, and I was thinking about maybe 190 or something. Do you think it would make a difference?

If you have AA enabled even if is is overclocked the card is going to slow to a crawl.

Not at all. That card is so outdated it won't play the latest games.

At least not at a playable FPS;)

Aye.

It plays OK with AA disabled, 30-50FPS, of course, when something like an explosion happens things get ugly...But still playable.

I'm working on getting a new video card, I figured RAM was the first priotity.

my desktop has the next one up, and it won't oc at all. if your GPU has a fan, it should run at 200, but that is pretty close to pointless when memory is the bottleneck. check the chips on the card; i'll bet they'll be 6ns memory for 166mhz; if lower you can divide 1 by the timing (eg 5.5ns) to get 0.181 which goes to 181MHz.
