Hey I jsut got my new mobo via fed-ex today. It looks awesome. Question though, I removed my HSF from my old mobo, and there is a good deal of old thermal grease on it. What should I wipe it with? DOes it matter? Thanks a bunch.

Use 90% rubbing alcohol.

Use the purest IPA (isopropyl alcohol) you can find. Clean it with a lint free cloth. I use Kim wipes but coffee filters work perfect.;)

Q tips and rubbing alcohol does the trick for me.

I literally just did that before sitting down, used nail polish remover and it worked for me.

I got 98% of it off... seems to be working fine. At 30 celcius too!!
