How can this be done.. i just have all my serials in a word document and things i dont want people to access...

Go to the folders properties and click advanced. Select encrypt.

You wouldn't need to. The only one that would be able to read it, would be the loged in user that created it.

OK, I see what you mean, I just thought that it would give you an option to enter in a password, if say a household uses 1 profile.

None that I can think of that are native NT utilities. Maybe a third party app?

I perfer everyone has there own user account. It makes seperating things like files, desktop settings and security easer.

if your a household that all uses one profile.... consider migrating to other profiles... this way you can be a lot more organized, and yes you can also privatize your documents......
