A few questions about this...

has anyone heard of this combination? A local computer shop recommended it to me. Even though the highest Pentium chip an Abit BE-6 will take is an 850 MHz (which is what I currently have in there) it seems that it will take a slocket adapter and a socket Celeron 1400.

Any way to prove or disprove this short of ordering the parts? Are all slockets created equal or are some more equal then others?

Celerons still have the smaller cache?

Thanks

the 1400 celeron will be like a 100mhz fsb p3. if i were u tho i'd get a straight taulatin board for it.

If I were to get a different board I'd not be going with the Celeron.

How about slockets? Are there different brands/makes? What is a decent price for them?

I read one review saying there are some with voltage modifiers and some without. How can I tell the difference?

Thanks
