This is from friend, his hd tach CPU util is incredibaly high

I got some new parts for the computer (specs in sig). But, it keeps kinda hanging for a second when i'm listening to music. I don't notice it when i'm playing games but that doesn't mean its not there. Its really aggravating though because the song kinda hangs at the same spot for a second making a repeating dddd (say it phinetically). I have all the newest drivers for everything (including 4in1's) but it still happens. I thought it was my psu so i unplugged everything i don't need and it kinda stopped happening, but its started doing it very frequently again today. I need help soon because i need to know if i have to rma something or buy a new psu

For one thing, you need to patch HD Tach to fix the burst rate problem. I think it also corrected a CPU issue, but I'm not sure on that.

Its not the HDD, he gave it to me, and works fine in my system,

Burke where is the patch, I CANT FIND IT
