View Full Version : nforce2 2.41/2.42 drivers yanked.

It looks like Nvidia did'nt get their 2.4x drivers right and yanked them. At their download site there's a 2.03 driver and instructions on how to remove the 2.4x ones. What I don't get is they instruct you to uninstall the nv IDE driver and update it to the standard dual chanel PCI one. That sucks. Why can't I just use the IDE drivers from the 2.03 set? I used them right up to the 2.4x ones.
There must be some serious issues for them to tell everyone to do that. The best part is they say new drivers won't be released any time soon.

They should yank their 2.03 driver too. They suck. I get lockups constantly...

I hear you . These new drivers better come out quick and right. Thats another point for getting a 9800 in my book.

Nvidia shoud get M$ help :D :D on the IDE drivers

I installed the new drivers and all is fine here....oh...I'm using SATA....nevermind.

I do have the drivers saved if anyone needs them.
