It looks tight Extreme. You get an Antec PSU with an Antec case. Thats what I have and I'm very happy with it. Why don't you hold off for the 256MB 9800?

sure you can get the 3ghz proccessor or you can always go for the 2.4C and overclock it past 3ghz, which would save you some money. but then again overclocking a 3ghz would be even better. eh who cares whetheryou got for the 2.4c or the 3ghz your rig is still gonna rock overclocked or not. have fun

Ya i could but the reason i am getting the 3ghz is because i dont think i am going to do any overclocking. But if i do o/c it will just be a very mild. I will have fun;)

Springdale chipsets and the P4c's overclock like champs. My Asus P4P800 takes to overclocking like a duck to water.

Real nice setup man. Only suggestion i'd have is goin SCSI, and then just get an 80GB HDD. SCSI is amazing, it's definitly worth the money.

check office max for the WD drive. I just bought a Special Edition 120 for $139 with $80 worth of mail in rebates. Final cost is like $59.

amen to that, use a coupon too

U can get a liteon for cheaper at staples. The Cendyne drives are usually Lite-on. Go to staples, look at the back of box, and it tells ut the model number. if its LTR u got a liteon. Use rebates and coupon, and its cheap

The one thing I would adjust is the CDRW ... you can get a 52x24x52 Lite-On at newegg cheaper then the one you have listed. They have it on sale right now for $49.00 shipped. :D

just wanted to jump and and ditto yardofstuf.

tigerdirect is a very BAD idea. I've been burned by them, as have two of my friends as well. Took SIX weeks to give me a refund.

buddy ordered a computer from tigerdirect.

they failed to put thermal paste on the cpu.

they didnt put a controller card he had ordered in and almost a year later when he made the decovery, they said too bad.

They put a ata33 20gig HD in, although he paid more for the ata66.

My oversight ... did not notice that the one you had selected had DVD capabilities. System is a go then ...

I also have ordered from Tigerdirect and had NO problems. Not saying they do not have problems ... I was lucky and did not experience that.

My suggestion is to order as much as possible from newegg ... maybe even see if they have stuff that is close to what you are looking to get. The pricing will be VERY close and you will also have peace of mind. I personally have ordered over $2500 worth of stuff from newegg and NEVER gotten burned.
