dunno about Fortron
never heard of them...

I run an Antec True 480 on one of my comps (AT7 w/XP2000)
that seems to be running pretty good..

Hey guys,
Xeons need a hook up that most of the listed above psu's don't have... ;) Loopy, the one that you linked to looks to be Xeon approved...

If you are going to use Xeons, then I would definitely suggest going to your mobo's site as they will have a list of "their" approved psu's...

I forget the ones that I bought ~6 months ago to use on my Xeon servers. I will check it out tomorrow and let you know... (It was an uncommon psu, but was approved by Intel and seems to be just fine...)

Are you building a server? If so, what will be the principle uses? Will it run SCSI? RAID? SCSI RAID?
Keep in mind that a servers needs are different from a workstation, gaming rig, inet surfer, etc... ;)
You don't need the fast 3d VGA's, you do need registered ECC RAM and such... (You do not OC servers... ;) )

I dropped about $5000 "each" for both of my servers...

No server, I was going to upgrade the psu on my main pc, and i thought that one would be a good choice...wasnt thinking about special plugs though. I just want something good quality though, prolly going to go with the Pc Power and Cooling. I've heard great things about them
