MMMMMmmmmmMMMMMmmmm ! :D That 1 drive beats my 2-100 Gigerz in raid with my 60 Giger back up.

isnt it that the bigger the drive the more space you loose when you format or somthing like that...

plz clear things up for me... i heard this and not sure...

Yeah, you're right in way. You "lose" GB'z due to formatting purposes - you don't just lose it. I.e. to format my 2xWD800JB'z(80GB'z ea)= 160GB'z in RAID-0, after formatting it I ended up with 157GB'z to play with. So my "best guess" with a 250G'er you'd "lose" somewhere around 5 - 6GB'z of space due to formatting, leaving you with approx. 244GB'z of storage space to play with - Now are you really worried about that???

Imagine four of those like YOSC mentioned - 4x244GB'z = 976GB'z worth of storage?!?! Wow!!, yeah like I'm gonna really worry about NOT having enough storage space due to a 24GB space lost because I had to format it to use it....:D

Whatever OS comes out after XP will probably make you need a 250giger... LOL

Storage hog.
