Im having problems installing any video card in this system. Whenever I go to install the drivers they will install fine but the minute I try to change the resolution it reboots on me and usually totally hoses windows. I have tried a bunch of different drivers and ive tried a GF4 ti4200 and GF FX 5200 ultra.

Clean install on a freshly installed OS? Or a rig that's been around with a prior video card? I see some of the equipment is pretty new, but still just checking.

Remove all other peripherals when running setup except what's absolutely needed (video, SATA controller, etc)...leave other things like firewire cards and/or sound until after.

Ya its a fresh install on a brand new system. The only card I have is the SATA card nothing else.
