Why don't you go for the 2100 Tbred instead? 433Mhz on a 1700 isn't an easy feat. If i can get another 2100 Tbred B 304 I'd be verrrrry happy.But evrything I've read and seen is leading me towards a Barton 2500+.

Either the 311 or the 308 seem nice oc'ers. Not all cpu's behave the same way so it all depends on the board, ram, voltage and cooling.

I´ve seen the XP1700+ running at real >2.2ghz for 65 EURO.
how are the XP2100+ and XP2500+ (1.73 and 1.83ghz stock) ?!

And another fact ist, that I can´t get an XP2100+ tbred (only XP2200+)!
