its gonna be mostly for gaming.... im thinking of AMD but i have never built an AMD before... dunno what to get... any suggestions? AMD should be cheaper?

you could prolly use a bit better GFX card for it...


Mobo looks pretty good; though I'm not exactly upto date on P4 Mobos and stuffs...generally Asus makes solid stuffs though..

thats from essential computers.


the abit mobo gives u a good upgrade path and a 2500+ barton is a good cpu. now unless u have a fairly modern PSU u may to to updrade to one with an AUX 12v cable, this is used for both amd and intel.
