Hey everyone i have a quick question. On the 8rda+ the sb has no cooling at all. So i decided to give it at least passive cooling wid one of my iceburq heatsinks. But when i look at pictures of people who have done theres, there is nothing makeing stay so i am think they used to as3 to make it stick to the sb. here is a pic

How did they get that to stay on the sb?
Thanks

wow now that was fast!! thanks guys!!! So it should be safe for me to use some artic silver 3 on the sb and lets it day a little and the heatsink will stay right?
I would use AS3 epoxy .. you cant guarantee a hold with just thermal compund

No, not Arctic Silver 3 thermal compound...Arctic Silver ADHESIVE. It's an epoxy.

I wouldnt worry about it staying on. I would worry more about the fact it probably wont come off. Youd need to freeze it and use a screw driver and it would come off if your lucky.
You could get some thermal tape instead, it can come off and doesnt leavea big mess. The south bridge isnt really important to cool anyway. It doesnt get warm enough to decrease performance.
yep you'd have to use a thermal epoxy rather than regular paste ofr any chipset that doesn't have a clamping mechanism. Basically, everything but the processor :p
