Best all round setting for a 56k modem?

I downloaded a program called Dr TCP but have no idea what the ideal setting would be for this program. Could someone please advise? Thanks.

You're right of course. Just having some fun. I'm sure someone can give them a hand, unfortunately I haven't tried to tweak a 56k modem in years and have no idea what's available to do so at this point.

I believe the calbenut update has a settings option for optimized 56k settings.

Really can't tweak a 56k due to the limited speeds of a phone line.
