View Full Version : IC7 (Canterwood) specs at ABIT's site...
http://www.abit.com.tw/abitweb/webjsp/english/mb_spec.jsp?pPRODUCT_TYPE=MotherBoard&pMODEL_NAME=IC7-G
Ok, i'll have to do some reading, it was my understanding the Canterwood i.e i875P would only support 800/533 Mhz FSB's and it was the Springdale that supported 800/533 and 400
I may be wrong though, hrmm
also that board says its the i875
so maybe thats the difference in the i875 and i875P ?

I think they've "upped" the capabilities of Canterwood to closer match Springdale.

 They've been doing it on their AMD boards for the last two years.

Not on their Intel boards, though.

They are starting to do really bad in the AMD game. We might notice them focus a lot more on their Intel game to keep profits up.
