Is PNY and Extasy still around? I know PNY is but I don't know if they still make Nvidia video cards.

Whatever, who cares? GeForce FX 5800 Ultra is gunna rule. If only I didn't buy this crappy 9700  I'd have the money.

I don't see what you people are smoking while going crazy over all these new video cards. A bloody g3 ti500 will run any game today and for the next year at 75+fps. and your eye cant even see close to that many fps.

And dx9 compatability is not going to be worth dishing out 300-400 for a new graphics card. I love nvidia but there will probably never be a geforce fx in my system. I'll wait for my ti4200 to start hurting in games before i upgrade. And trust me that won't be for a very long time!

The key isn't framerates, it's that these new cards can run games fast with high AA and AS enabled. I doubt a Ti500 can run a game like NOLF2 or UT2K3 at 1280x1024 with 6x AA and 16x AS enabled without crapping itself.

What in the world is the point of anything past 2x AA and antistropic filtering isnt exactly a card killer like AA

You can easily tell the difference between 2x and 6x AA.

Ok, this is just a difference in opinion i guess. I just dont see the point in a 300 upgrade for a difference that you have to try to notice.
