I am so lost on what Mobo to buy

Wanna put in a p4 2.53
1 gig 2x512 DRR pc3200

Need some thing staple and will O/C

Looked in to AUSU P4PE that coldboot prop scared me off of that one

Also was looking at

Gigabyte GA-8PE667 ULTRA2 Cant find many reviews and i guess it don't O/C well

on board stuff ant all that to me as long as its got USb, 2.0 would be a + Needs to have 2x IDE and if it also had SATA that wouldn't hurt 8x agp would be best but 4x would do

TIA

I've ordered one myself, but the price will drive many-a-folk away...

Yeah, Thats true 255.00 is up there a bit for a mobo. But so worth it.:)

I ordered 2 more sticks of 512mb XMS 3500 last nite. See what happens with 2Gb of Ram, for the first big OC.:)

And this might not be the "Ultra" version, but I'd venture to say the benchmarks and review would be virtually identical. Usually "Ultra" just means the inclusion of FireWire or the like.

Looks Sweet but ouch 255$ so the gigabyite are nice to OC? from what i read and heard on the boards ther not i was almost sold on the gigabyte ultra 2 till i started reading bad stuff about gigabyte same with the ASUS MOBO i guess for every one happy custmore ther is 2 non happy ones

Hows dual ram work? dont you have to run the ram at a slower speed to get true dual ram

Im planing on sticking 2 512 sticks of Corsair CMX512-3200C2PT 512MB DDR400 PC3200 will that pull of dual drr? and work with that board

:D

dude, for 250, a board good for OCing isnt good enough..

get a 150 dollar board, and use the 100 bucks for a better proc.. heh. makes more sense to me.
