Zoom 5697 X6

details: VoIP Wireless ADSL2+ Gateway
hardware type: VoIP Gateway
date added: 2009-09-04
updated: 2012-09-04
The Zoom 5697 X6 integrates a full-rate ADSL 2/2+ modem, router, 802.11b/g wireless access point, VoIP telephone adapter, and four-port 10/100 Ethernet switch. It provides both an FXO and an FXS phone port and allow calls to be bridged between the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) and Voice over IP. The FXO port includes the TelePort, an intelligent relay that allows a single phone to place and receive both VoIP calls and calls over the PSTN. This feature also provides reliable emergency calling and calling during power failures.

This router supports a variety of VoIP features, such as caller ID, 3-way conference and call waiting function. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against popular Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
