hardware type: Firewall
date added: 2016-03-28
updated: 2016-04-21
Firebox T50 is a firewall suitable for small business, distributed enterprises, and MSSPs that need a solution that can be quickly deployed in remote locations and centrally managed.

It can be used as a stand-alone solution or centrally managed from corporate headquarters. Flexible management tools and WatchGuard's RapidDeploy technology enable administrators to quickly set up a T Series device at remote locations so businesses can ensure that they protect everywhere they connect.

Firebox T50 sustains up to 1200 Mbps firewall throughput and comes in wired and wireless versions. The model Firebox T50-W supports wireless functionality.

Anywhere, anytime web UI allows IT to directly manage all security functions on the appliance. Intuitive management console enables quick copying of corporate policy across multiple appliances.

Built-in reports for PCI and HIPAA mean one-click access to the data you need to ensure compliance requirements are covered.

The PoE port on T50 eliminates the need of power outlet as it can run power over an Ethernet cable.

The Firebox T50-W is a wireless variant that supports 802.11 a/b/b/n/ac, WPA/WPA2, WEP, and a Wireless Guest network.
