The TCW710 is a wireless cable gateway with a single 10/100Base-T LAN port and a single USB 1.1 port. It provides 55Mbps WAN throughput. The router provides Propane technology, enabling the connection of more Internet users without additional network bandwidth.
The gateway offers anti-spoofing functions, resulting in greater subscriber privacy and higher system availability. Advanced features such as WLAN IEEE 802.11b/g, NAT, Firewall, VPN pass through and CableHome are also available.
The TCW710 can be configured in any one of three Networking Modes: Cable Modem, Residential Gateway, and CableHome. CH (CableHome) Mode provides all the functionality of RG mode and adds the ability of the cable company to control the home networking configuration of the wireless cable gateway, so you don't need to perform the configuration yourself.
The router is intended for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) market.
