Technicolor / Thomson SpeedTouch 716g

details: VoIP Wireless-G Router
hardware type: VoIP Gateway
date added: 2012-07-23
updated: 2015-06-23
This router supports ADSL2/ADSL2+ and is backward compatible to ADSL offering auto-negotiation capability for G.dmt, G.lite, or T1.413 Issue 2. It offers an additional 802.11g wireless LAN interface.

The SpeedTouch 716g is equipped with a 4-port 10/100Mb/s Ethernet switch, plus two Voice over IP (VoIP) ports and a feature-rich router, which allow seamless use of a
wealth of high-bandwidth applications together with highquality Voice over IP functionality.

The SpeedTouch firewall guarantees users the ultimate level in network security. Through integration with Hyper-NAT, the firewall leverages all the Application Level Gateways provided in the Hyper-NAT context to minimize undesired service impact. The SpeedTouch firewall provides stateful inspection of packets, and an integrated Denial of Service (DoS) engine monitors a wide range of attack patterns, and logs potential security breaches to a local cache or remote server.

The SpeedTouch Wireless Home Install Wizard makes setting up a wireless home network as easy as clicking a button.
