The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0), providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps. It can operate in AP and Wireless Bridge modes and supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. The NP740n uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.
This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It features a built-in firewall to protect the network against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks. It can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility, including a Quick Setup Wizard.
