This router is IEEE 802.11b/g standards compliant. It provides wireless transmission speeds of up to 54Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption and uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network.
The WM-G500R provides VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It has a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
