I've set up dozens of wifi extenders, and this thing is complete garbage. The interface is worthless, it never connects, most of the time a wifi scan can't even find it, when it does, it just disconnects and my device obtains an IPhone address from anywhere else. It has never worked. It is complete garbage. A total waste of our natural resources and refuge space.

You can always try and connect to it via Ethernet cable.. You can then set its wireless capabilities.
