The HAWNR1 is a wireless gateway with one 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T LAN ports. The HAWNR1 features an internal range amplifier that boosts the wireless receiving and transmitting power for greater wireless distance.

The integrated AP complies with IEEE 802.11n (draft) standard, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 150Mbps. It can operate in several different modes, such as AP, Wireless Bridge, Repeater.
