WR2884DN adopts 802.11n-compliant wireless chip solution, and is backwards compatible with the IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards. It supports wireless transmission rate of up to 300Mbps.
This router supports SSID hiding, wireless MAC address based data filtering, 64/128-bit WEP encryption, and WPA/WPA2 encryption mechanism to prevent illegal access or theft to the wireless networks.
WR2884DN also supports binding IP addresses of Intranet PCs with their MAC addresses to prevent fake data packets, inhibit Intranet ARP attack, and guarantee the security of the Intranet. It can also prevent DoS attack, automatically isolate viruses, and protect the intranet against viruses.
WR2884DN provides a WPS button for easier wireless security establishment. It also supports WDS wireless bridging and can provide wireless bridging between two or more wireless routers to expand wireless coverage.
