DrayTek Vigor 2710VDn

details: 802.11n Wireless ADSL2+ Router with VoIP
hardware type: VoIP Gateway
date added: 2010-02-16
updated: 2015-11-15
The Vigor 2710VDn is a VoIP wireless ADSL2+ router with one RJ-11 WAN port, four 10/100Base-T LAN ports, one USB port and a single FXS port for VoIP. It provides WAN throughput of up to 24Mbps. Using a 3.5G USB Modem, the USB port can act as second WAN port.

This router can serve as a DECT base station (GAP) for up to 6 cordless telephones. A line port allows connection to a PSTN line so the user can select either the PSTN or VoIP for the calls, and can access the PSTN line during power black-outs when VoIP are cut off.

The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0) standard, providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption and uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for easy wireless security configuration.

The Vigor 2710VDn supports a variety of VoIP features, such as Caller ID, Voice Activity Detection (VAD) and Echo Cancellation.

This router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall protects the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
