details: Wireless AC1900 Dual Band Gigabit Cloud Router
hardware type: Wireless Router
date added: 2014-04-22
updated: 2015-03-01
Using the latest Wireless AC technology, which can provide transfer rates of up to 1.9 Gbps (1300AC + 600N), the DIR-880L operates on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands at the same time using concurrent dual-band technology and three external antennas.

Advanced AC SmartBeam provides a significant increase in wireless performance, while Advanced Quality of Service (QoS) efficiently distributes bandwidth.

Get the DIR-880L up and running in no time right from your couch using the QRS (Quick Router Setup) Mobile app on your smartphone or tablet. Simply plug in the router, open the app, and follow a few easy steps to get your home network connected without having to touch a computer.

There is no MAC filtering for the WiFi and no IP attribution or reservation. It's a bad point for a router...

There is IP address reservation features and instead of Mac Filtering, there is Parental Controls. Dig deeper and you'll find what your looking for.

Any Reservation problems that users find have been fixed in the latest FW update. Good router. Works well.
