Cradlepoint MBR1200

details: Failsafe Gigabit N Router for Mobile Broadband
hardware type: Travel Router
date added: 2009-10-26
updated: 2015-10-25
The MBR1200 is a wireless router with one 10/100/1000Base-T WAN port, four 10/100/1000Base-T LAN ports, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 ExpressCard slot and a PC card slot. One of the LAN ports can be configured as WAN port to allow redundancy. With its failover/failback capability, the MBR1200 automatically switches to a secondary connection (either wired or wireless) when your primary service is interrupted. Once your service is restored, the MBR1200 will automatically failback to the primary connection.

The integrated access point complies with the IEEE 802.11n standard, providing over 300 yards of WiFi range. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration. External antenna ports allow for connecting optional antennas to the device in order to provide additional distance and performance.

The router supports multiple concurrent IPSec, L2TP and PPTP VPN pass-through sessions.
A built-in SPI firewall provides a reliable protection against Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
