The CN-BR1 is an IP sharing router that enables multiple users to share the Internet through an ADSL or cable modem. It features two USB 1.1 ports, providing printer server functionality and supports LAN to WAN throughput of up to 40 Mbps.

The router supports VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. It has a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
