The F5D5231-4 is a broadband router with a single 10/100Mbps WAN port and four 10/100Mbps LAN ports. It supports UPNP, port forwarding and DMZ.

This router supports VPN pass-through for IPSec and PPTP. It features a built-in SPI firewall to protect the network from hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.

frequently freezes up , cant access it via lan, have to go unplug it and plug it back in to make it responsive again. sometimes it loses my internet connection, then it comes back. no idea why.

no firmware updates, runs on 1.00.00.

port forwarding didnt work the first 5 times i tried it, then disabled the belkin router firewall , then port fowarding worked. it would be nice if this was explained in the manual...

belkins ' auto update firmware button of course does not work this many years later.
