The WR2100 boosts signal strength through the use of 2x2 802.11n radio, which is compatible with existing 2.4GHz Wireless Gateway/Routers. By repeating and boosting the wireless signal the Wireless Gateway/Router provides, the WR2100 eliminates wireless "dead spots" in the house in areas where the wireless signal your router provides may not be good enough.
With its integrated AC power adapter, the WR2100 plugs directly into a power socket
with no wires or special cabling required. A simple Green/Yellow/Red LED provides a visual indication of the signal levels in the location of the repeater, helping to determine optimal placement to ensure the best Wi-Fi coverage.
Push button WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) simplifies the process of connecting the
WR2100 to the existing wireless network. The WR2100 automatically copies the SSID
name channel and security setting of the main Wireless Gateway /Router, keeping
your network secured and allowing for simple association of your wireless clients.
