The A2100 is Pace's entry-level ADSL2+ Gateway, targeted for high-speed Internet services and dual-play (data and IPTV). It is designed as a flexible platform, which can host a range of applications and services.
The built-in IEEE 802.11n wireless interface provides coverage and high performance for the whole home with speeds of up to 300Mbps. Four fast Ethernet interfaces are provided to connect PCs, set-top boxes and other consumer devices in the home.
Using the two USB host interfaces, the gateway can be equipped with 3G backup, hard drives for media storage, ZigBee dongles and other accessories to extend functionality.
The A2100 is equipped with advanced TR-069 management and is interoperable with major ACSs, as well as other methods of configuration via a user friendly GUI, TFTP or FTP. This enables operators to easily update the firmware image or the configuration data.
