Verizon Wireless has been hit around the country by a data outage that is preventing some customers from getting access to the carrier's network. A quick look at Verizon's support forums illustrates the extent of the data outage: the data outage has struck New York, California, Illinois, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio (among others). It's the second such outage for Verizon users this month, which, coupled with recent massive BlackBerry outages and regularly occurring Android malware problems, may start to find Verizon racing for answers. So far Verizon's 3G CDMA network appears to be up, but 4G LTE services are still unavailable. Meanwhile, Verizon reps confirmed that the company is looking into the outage. Read more -here-
