Verizon iPhone Now Available for Jailbreaking

Even before the iPhone 4’s release on the Verizon network (due February 10) there has been a new firmware release, namely 4.2.6.

All this does is simply add the new personal hotspot feature. However, as most jailbreakers will know, when Apple release new firmware you normally have to wait until the jailbreaking community has caught up before a suitable jailbreak can be implemented on your phone.

Well the wait is over as far as the Verizon iPhone 4 is concerned as the Chronic Dev Team have released Greenpois0n RC5.4 for both Mac and PC users.

Similar to JailbreakMe this utility allows you to quickly jailbreak your Verizon iPhone 4 running on iOS 4.2.6.
