Skype investigates tool that reveals users' IP addresses2012-05-01 11:38 by Daniela
Skype has said today that it is investigating a method that can discover a user's last known IP address when using the VOIP service. In response, Skype said in a statement:
Users who want to avoid security threats could use either a VPN service, or The Onion Router (TOR), an anonymizing service that routes a personís internet traffic through a network of worldwide servers in a fashion that is difficult to trace.
