NetComm Limited today announced that the NetComm ADSL2+ Modem Router with Gigabit WAN, VoIP, 3G and USB host (NB16WV) is now available to personal and business Internet users requiring a future-proof central connection point for all online activities.

The NB16WV offers multiple connection options including high-speed ADSL2+, 3G and Gigabit Ethernet broadband to prepare users for the NBN national rollout of fibre-to-the-premise installations. The future-ready device also offers IPv6 Internet Protocol address (IP address) capabilities to support emerging technologies once IPv4 addresses are exhausted.

In todays connected world more and more business are reliant on a constant internet connection for e-mails, sales orders and accessing extranets. As cloud computing becomes more mainstream the risk of downtime from a fixed line failure can cost business severely, with fallback to 3G in the event of such a failure the NetComm 3G16WV can be a real business lifesaver.
