Google's Tango smartphone augmented reality platform is now officially on the market as part of Lenovo's smartphone Phab2 Pro. The phone was launched today for $499. With the Phab 2 Pro, Lenovo and Google are trying to prove that AR can and should become an integral component of modern smartphones. Phab 2 Pro is the first fully capable AR smartphone. By using the integrated 16MP camera, it measures objects just by looking at them. It's the phone that could let you see how a new piece of furniture might actually fit in your home, or play advanced Pokemon Go-like augmented reality games in the real world. The phone comes with a massive 6.4-inch 2560 x 1440 display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Google says the Phab 2 Pro is just the first of many Tango phones headed to market in 2017. Read more -here-
