D-Link Unveils New Cloud Home Network Products and Services

At CES today, D-Link announced new cloud services that work in tandem with its consumer networking products and also showcased its latest home networking devices. D-Link's new Cloud Services provide remote sharing and management capabilities through its mydlink portal and mydlink apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. The new services will be available with D-Link's newest routers. | Another router, announced at CES is the Ampifi HD Media Router 3000 (DIR-857). It offers throughput up to 900 Mbps, D-Link's HD Fuel QoS technology, and the new SharePort Cloud for remotely managing and sharing content. The router features Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0 and an SD card slot. | The DIR-605L: | One of the routers, DIR-605L is a basic, two-antenna 802.11n router operating on the 2.4GHz band only and delivers top speeds of 300 megabits per second; it's available now. | The DHP-1565: | D-Link's third router announcement was the DHP-1565 Wireless N PowerLine Gigabit Router. It uses a home's existing electrical wiring to extend wired and wireless connectivity. It has Gigabit WAN and LAN ports and 500 Mbps HomePlug AV compatible powerline support. | Read more -here-
