Why didn't ya get the 9700 or wait on the N30? Seems the rest of the bits are cuttin edge almost. Well, 399 vs. 200 does make sense....that thing will scream man. Have fun.

Yeah price held me back from upping my Vid Card, and I always figure I can OC the life out of the Gainward.

It's kinda cool to see a lot of people going for higher clock speed P4s over the AMDs...I still remember back in not long ago, everyone was still saying "AMD OWNS, P4 BLOWS!"...
I think my next rig wil lbe P4 too ;)

Heh the current one or the one that I just got a tracking number for? On both counts no. lol, sry man.

Cy when I was first planning out a new comp I said I would go AMD (thats how far back this dream of mine goes) then Intel took the lead.

The new AMD's with a 333 FSB that come out next month will add some ambuguity to which brand controls the performance crown. Given the pirces I have seen it also adds some doubt as to who is the value brand.

there's no ambiguity. even the athlon's raised fsb will not save it. which sucks, but i'm not going to spend huge sums of money on a new mobo, etc.. i'll stick and get an axp 2700+ when it hits i suppose. the p4 is a good pick right now..
