Battlefield 1942 Graphics Prob.

yeah i have a kyro II 3d prophet 4500 64mb and i go to play the game and all the ground is blue and the weapons. most of the guns dont even appear in my hand but i know they are there because i can shoot them. and i only can see some of the tanks. is there a patch out and does anyone know if it is supposed to fix this problem?

the only patch for the game thats out is the 1.1 patch...you got the newest video card driverS? check all your setting in the properties section of ur desktop?

yeah ive gotten new vid card drivers and 8.1 comes with battlefield so i have no clue think its just that kyro II is teh ghey. im tryin to get my friend to sell me his old Geforce2 GTS in hopes of it will run the game right. i think it should cuz his card has T&L. that and Kyro II blows i dont care want anyone says.

I'm not sure what is going on with that game.. Check this out..
PC#1: AMD XP1800
256 MB DDR(PC2100)
Geforce4 128 MB DDR TI4200
Creative SB PCI 512
WIn ME
The game runs perfect on this system. Really, it kicks ass and is a great game.
PC#2 : AMD Athlon 1400
512 MB DDR(PC2100)
Geforce4 128 MB DDR TI4200(exact same card as above)
Creative SB Live
Win ME
Battlefield runs like crap on this machine. It is very laggy and sometimes freezes for seconds at a time. Both systems are set up as closely as possible.
I haven't yet been able to work this out. Some say it could be the sound card but I don't know. I am planning on checking out the IRQ's and some other things to see if there is a conflict somewhere. It could be in the fact that I replaced the power supply on PC#1 with a 480 Watt and PC#2 is still running a 300(yes I know that that is the bare minimum for an Athlon).
I've been online looking for some suggestions myself.
If I find anything I'll post it. Sorry I couldn't help. I just wanted to let you know that it may not be your video card and you are not alone.

Hard to say but my friends 1.4 athlon does the same crap with a radeon 9000 overclocked fast...
